Ponta do Corumbau is a hidden paradise, a true treasure still little explored in the south of Bahia, on the Discovery Coast. The main attraction is the strip of sand that exceeds 500m to 2km out to sea at low tide and creates an absolutely spectacular scenery. The colors of the sky and the sea mix in different tones  and change all the time: sometimes blue, sometimes green, sometimes purple.

In addition, the beach also allows exclusive tours for restricted groups, to dive in the corals, spot humpback whales, navigate the river and feel all the charm of a preserved, alive and exuberant nature.

The sea waters are warm and calm and the beach is a sure destination for those who want peace and a calm and familiar environment.

A good part of the village lives on local fishing, which allows you to taste delicious seafood, such as lobsters, VG shrimp, snacks and all the flavor of traditional Bahian cuisine. It is worth remembering that the fishing activity is carried out by the local community, under the control of Resex, the Marine Extractive Reserve of Corumbau, whose presence is marked by the village lighthouse, our dear neighbor.

And if you want, it is still possible to take a boat or a buggy to visit neighboring beaches, such as Cumuruxatiba, Caraíva and Barra do Cahy.
